The 2026 Jimmy Carter Forum on U.S.-China Relations (January 29–30, 2026) took as its theme the role of women in U.S.-China relations — as scholars, diplomats, entrepreneurs, and civil-society leaders shaping the bilateral relationship.
Held annually since 2012, the Forum continues President Jimmy Carter’s commitment to dialogue and normalization. Panels addressed diplomacy and track-two engagement, economic and technological competition, and people-to-people exchange.
